The government, via the SA Social Security Agency (SASSA), has setup the Covid 19 Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD) which is an amount of R350 per month for 6 months to be paid to unemployed individuals that are not currently receiving any income or other grant payments (excluding child grant). The money from this social grant is to help those struggling in South Africa from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Provide your South African ID Number.
Then also provide the phone number you used to submit the application.
You should now be able to login and do a status check.
