2 Phones 1 Contract Deals

A phone contract can include two devices. If you consider getting a smartphone for yourself and another for your spouse or child, you can include two similar devices in one contract. The contract will then have one monthly payment instead of two separate ones. This single payment is advantageous because it does not lessen your credit score as much as when you take out two separate contracts. You may also be rendered unqualified to get a second cell phone contract once you get the first one. The 2 phones 1 contract payment also makes your monthly dues easier to manage.

At this time, there are six devices available for this type of contract deal. All of them are from Vodacom. All other network providers in South Africa who sell cell phones on contract do not currently have the 2 phones 1 contract deal available to customers. HUAWEI Nova Y9a from Vodacom

The Huawei Nove Y9a was released in September 2020. It has a beautiful looking 6.63-inch IPS LCD screen with a full high-definition resolution, also known as Full HD or FHD, or 1080p resolution. The display is more immersive than other displays because it does not have a cut-out for the selfie camera. The Nova Y9a’s selfie camera pops up from the top whenever you open the camera app.

For performance, the phone sports a Mediatek Helio G80 octa-core chipset, designed and optimized for smartphone gaming. The chipset is bolstered by the Mali G2 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). It has 8 GB of RAM storage, which helps keep apps open, and 128 GB of ROM storage for downloading apps, videos, music, and apps. The ROM is expandable through a MicroSD card of up to 256 GB.

The phone has a battery capacity of 4200MaH. It supports 40W “Super-Fast” charging, which takes over 1 hour to charge from 0% to 100%. This charger is included in the box.

Huawei’s EMUI (Emotion User Interface) is the user interface version 10.1. This UI is based on Android 10, so its looks and features are similar to this version of Android. It, however, does not come with the Google Play Store or the standard Google apps preinstalled in it.

The phone has quad (4) cameras. The main one is 64 Megapixels, the depth sensor is 2 Megapixels, the Macro camera is also 2 Megapixels, and the wide-angle camera is 8 Megapixels. Its selfie camera is 16 Megapixels.

Samsung Galaxy A23

The Samsung Galaxy A23 was released this year on 25 March 2022. It has a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with a Full HD resolution. The display is okay despite not being made from Samsung’s famous AMOLED technology. It is sufficiently sharp and produces nice colors.

For performance, the A23 houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and the Adreno 610 GPU. The pair does well for everyday use, but there has been a lot of criticism from smartphone reviewers for Samsung’s choice of a chipset that is not 5G capable in a phone that is in a 5G phones-dominated price bracket. As for the RAM, Samsung sells the A23 with either 4 GB, 6 GB, or 8 GB. Additionally, you can pair these RAM options with either 64 GB or 128GB of ROM. The more RAM and ROM, the higher the price of the A23. This Samsung has a MicroSD card slot for additional storage.

The phone has a battery capacity of 5000MaH. In addition, it supports 25W fast charging. However, the 25W charger is not included in the box. The user interface is Samsung’s One UI version 4.1 on top of Android 12.

Samsung’s One UI is their customization of AndroidAndroid. They improve the user experience, add more features and improve the general aesthetic.

Oppo a16s

The Oppo a16s was released on 14th August 2021. It has a 6.52-inch LCD screen with a high-definition resolution, also known as HD or 720p resolution. The display has a pixel density of 269 PPI (pixels per inch).

On the performance side of things, the phone has a Mediatek Helio G35 octa-core chipset. Because the Helio G35 is part of MediaTek’s Helio G series, it is also designed and optimized for smartphone gaming. For graphics, the a16s has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM storage and 64 GB of ROM storage. The ROM is expandable through a MicroSD card. The phone has a battery capacity of 5000MaH. The user interface in this phone is Oppo’s Colour OS.

The phone has a triple (3) camera set up featuring the main camera, a depth sensor, and a macro camera. The main camera is 13 Megapixels, while the depth sensor and the Macro camera are 2 Megapixels. Its selfie camera is 8 Megapixels.
